Ms. Niedweske represents both individuals and companies with regard to labor and employment-related matters, and has extensive experience in the following areas:

  • State and federal litigation
  • Administrative agencies
  • Alternative dispute resolution
  • Labor-management issues, such as handling grievances and negotiating collective bargaining agreements
  • Wage and salary evaluation of a company's workforce
  • Drafting and reviewing of employee handbooks, restrictive covenants, contracts, employment agreements, separation agreements, performance appraisals, internal policies and procedures, and drug and alcohol testing policies
  • Federal and State employment and labor laws, including Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Age Discrimination in Employment Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, Pregnancy Discrimination Act, Older Worker's Protection Act, Federal Family and Medical Leave Act, the National Labor Relations Act, and their respective State counterparts

Ms. Niedweske concentrates her law practice on the prevention of employment-related disputes. She regularly advises corporate clients on the benefits of proactive, rather than reactive, management, and conducts seminars and lectures on the topic for their managers and employees. She provides similar services for advisory organizations such as the Society For Human Resource Managers, Lorman Educational Services, the New Jersey Medical Society, and New Jersey Trial Lawyers Association.
